KickUp’s AI Writing Tools help you create clearer, more effective written responses in forms across the platform. This guide outlines what the feature does, where to find it, and how to use it.
What the tool does
The AI Writing Tool provides suggestions for improving open-text responses in KickUp forms. Users can choose from the following options:
Proofread for grammar and spelling
Improve for clarity and readability
Shorten or expand text
Adjust tone (e.g., professional or casual)
Users remain in full control — the tool only applies suggestions when selected, and edits can be accepted, modified, or ignored.
Where to find it
The AI Writing Tool appears in open-text fields across the KickUp platform — including forms for PD feedback, classroom walkthroughs, coaching, or evaluations. You’ll see a “Rewrite with AI” option beneath any open-text box.
