Consider the following:

  • Is there an existing report that meets most of your needs? Would you like to copy the layout of an existing report? If so, you may want to clone a report and modify its contents, rather than starting from scratch.

Creating a Report:

Option 1: Cloning an existing report

Cloning an existing report can save you time if there is already a report with the same data source and/or a format similar to the one you want to build. Note that by default, copying a report will result in all filters, content and settings being copied to the new report, except for the sharing settings.

  • Go to your Reports page in KickUp

  • Find the report you'd like to copy, and click "Manage - Copy Report" Note: If you do not see this option, you may not have Manage Reports permissions assigned to your KickUp account. Please reach out to your Client Success Manager or to "support@kickup.co" for assistance in getting permission to Manage Reports.

To continue, give your report a name and click continue. Consider naming conventions in alignment with your other reports, so that it's easy to find and alphabetically sort your reports.

Option 2
: Create a New Report from Scratch by clicking "Create a Report" from your KickUp homepage.

To continue, give your report a name and click continue. Consider naming conventions in alignment with your other reports, so that it's easy to find and alphabetically sort your reports.
