The activity feed surfaces individual or group coaching submissions to a continuous feed in order to make them more discoverable to the teacher. In addition, the activity feed allows for threaded messages between a teacher and coach.

The activity feed will need to be enabled within your coaching instance. View this article for instructions on how to enable action items within a coaching instance.

As a coach and teacher within KickUp you can:

1. Create a message thread

To create a message, select the new message button to the right of the search bar. Type your message and select post message.

2. Edit a message

To edit a message, select the kebab menu next to the message you would like to edit. Select edit, make the required changes, and select save.

3. Delete a message & undelete a message

To delete a message, select the kebab menu next to the message you would like to delete. Select delete, then confirm the deletion on the modal.

To undelete a message, select the kebab menu next to the message you would like to resurface. Select undelete.

4. View and edit past submissions

To view an item on the activity feed, select the view submission button beside the item you’d like to view.

If you have the permission to edit the item, you will be able to edit directly from the modal. Once you have finished making the required edits, save.

5. Search messages

If you need to search a message within your activity feed, select the search field at the top of your activity feed. You can search through previous messages within that activity feed.
