The Collections table enables professional learning administrators and coordinators to quickly navigate and report on the collections in their district.

The ability to view the Collections table is tied to specific permissions in KickUp. If you believe you should be able to see it but do not, please contact your KickUp Learning system administrator or use the in-app chat support.

Where to find the Collections table

  1. Navigate to the Manage tab of the Learning product.

  2. Make sure you are in the Collections tab. Depending on which permissions you have been granted, you might have a different set of available tabs

Filtering collections

By default, every collection that exists in your organization will display. To adjust what collections are shown, use the filters. You can filter collections by Year and by Collection Type.

  • Year: Use this filter to limit collections to ones that include learning opportunities tied to specific school year(s). Collections are associated with multiple school years if they contain learning opportunities from multiple school years.

  • Collection Type: Choose whether you want to see General collections, Series-style collections, or both.

Filter options that have filters applied will display a badge with the number of filter values currently selected. All filters can be cleared by clicking Clear filters below the filters that always display above the table.

Previewing collection details

Click on a collection's name in the Collection name column to open a modal that displays quick facts about that opportunity in an easy-to-digest format.

Click View full details to open that collection's details page in a new tab.

Within the modal, click on a learning opportunity's name in the Opportunity name column to open another modal with details about that learning opportunity.

Click Close, x in the upper-right-hand corner, or anywhere on the page outside the modal to close the modal and return to the Collections table.

Exporting data

To export collections as a CSV:

  1. Click Actions

  2. Click Download table as CSV

  3. Click Export in the modal

  4. Click Download file once the export has finished processing

This export will respect your current selection of filters. The export might take up to a few minutes to generate when exporting very large quantities of data.
