Types of course content
Resources
A resource can be any content you'd like to share or steps that should be taken that don't require some form of evidence. You can include written text and multiple links/embeds and uploads within a resource.
Examples of resources include:
course overview with a summary of what the course will include
batch of links/uploads/text that cover a specific topic or lesson
embed a Google Slides presentation or Youtube video
Assignments
An assignment is a request for the participant to submit evidence through the submission of a link or upload. Assignments should explain the directions/expectations, which will be displayed to course participants.
Assignments can be set to either automatically be approved upon submission, or to require facilitator approval.
For assignments, facilitators will be able to track participant progress, approve or return submissions, and communicate with individual course participants about their assignment submissions.
Quizzes
A quiz is a way to check for understanding of course material. Quizzes, which are automatically graded, can contain multiple choice and true/false questions. In the quiz settings, course editors may also designate a passing score and set the number of attempts participants are able to take a quiz.
