  1. Go to the course details page

  2. Under the content section, select “Edit content.” This will take you to the editor view where you can create modules, resources, assignments, and quizzes.

  3. Select "Add module." A new module will be created. You can rename it or have it remain "Module 1."

4. To add a resource, assignment, or quiz to the module, select "Add" then select which item you'd like to add.

A resource can be any content you'd like to share or steps that should be taken that don't require some form of evidence. You can include written text and multiple links/embeds and uploads within a resource. Examples:

  • course overview with a summary of what the course will include

  • batch of links/uploads/text that cover a topic/lesson

  • embed a Google Slides presentation or Youtube video

An assignment is a request for the participant to submit evidence through the submission of a link or upload. You will explain the directions/expectations and the participant will be prompted to add one or more links/uploads.

A quiz is another way to check for understanding. You will create multiple choice and/or true/false questions, designate a passing score, and assign the number of attempts available to pass. Quizzes are automatically graded.
