You can attach files and links directly to a KickUp form submission — photos, documents, or resources that add evidence and context. Attachments work across KickUp forms, including walkthroughs, coaching logs and cycles, PD Feedback forms, and Growth evaluation steps.

Where attachments are turned on
Walks, coaching logs, and PD Feedback forms: Attachments are on by default. There's nothing to set up.
Growth evaluations and coaching cycles: These forms are built from steps, so attachments are turned on one step at a time. Whoever configures the steps checks Allow artifacts in that step's settings.
Good to know:
Attachments vs. artifacts: On Growth evaluation steps and coaching cycle steps, attachments are called artifacts. You'll see an Allow artifacts checkbox in the step settings and an Artifacts section on the step.
If you want attachments turned off, reach out to your KickUp CSM.
Adding attachments to a submission
Open the form.
Use the Attach action in the form's header, or the Attachments section on the form.
Add a file (drag and drop, or click to browse) or paste a link to a resource.
You can add attachments while filling out the form and after it has been submitted.
Who can add and see attachments
On coaching and evaluation forms, both the coach or evaluator and the staff member can add attachments and view any that have been added.
Attachments follow the normal visibility of the submission they belong to — anyone who can view the submission can see its attachments. Step-level and form-level attachments appear together in a single list on the submission. There is no separate per-attachment sharing control.
Good to know
Most common file types are supported (images, PDF, documents), along with links.
There's no set file size limit, but very large files can time out if they are too large or internet speeds aren't fast enough. If an upload keeps spinning and doesn't finish, try a smaller file. This is commonly the case with large video files. To share a video, upload it into Google Drive or Youtube and paste a link to it instead.
