The Opportunities table enables professional learning administrators, coordinators, and facilitators to quickly navigate and report on the learning opportunities in their district.

The ability to view the Opportunities table is tied to specific permissions in KickUp. If you believe you should be able to see it but do not, please contact your KickUp Learning system administrator or use the in-app chat support.

Article Outline

Where to find the Opportunities table

  1. Navigate to the Manage tab of the Learning product

  2. Make sure you are in the Opportunities tab. Depending on which permissions you have been granted, you might have a different set of available tabs.

Filtering learning opportunities

By default, the opportunities displayed in this table are filtered to the current school year (if you do not have any of the global permissions, you will see only the specific opportunities for which you have permissions)

To adjust what filters are applied, click the Filter button. This will open a sidebar that displays a searchable list of all of the attributes you can filter by. You can filter learning opportunities by any number of attributes, including ones related to the details of the learning opportunity, attendance & registration, tags, and frameworks.

Filter options that have filters applied will display a badge with the number of filter values currently selected. All filters can be cleared by clicking Clear filters below the filters that always display above the table.

Selecting columns

You can add or remove specific columns within the table by clicking the Edit Columns button. This will open a modal that displays, on the left, a searchable list of columns available to add and, on the right, a list of the currently selected columns. The order in which columns are displayed can be changed by dragging and dropping the columns in the right-hand list. Selecting and re-ordering columns will only impact your own view of the table, not how it appears to others using KickUp.

Previewing opportunity details

Clicking on a learning opportunity's name In the Opportunity name column will open a modal that displays quick facts about that opportunity in an easy-to-digest format.

Click View full details to open that learning opportunity's details page in a new tab.

Click on the attendance code to copy the six-digit code to your clipboard.

Click Close, x in the upper-right-hand corner of the modal, or anywhere on the page outside the modal to close the modal and return to the Opportunities table.

Exporting data

To export learning opportunities as a CSV:

  1. Click the three-dots actions menu

  2. Click the Export Table option

  3. Click Export in the modal

  4. Click Download file once the export has finished processing

This export will respect your current selection of columns and filters. The export might take up to a few minutes to generate when exporting very large quantities of data.
