1. Registration Confirmation

This notification is sent automatically when:

  • A user registers him/herself for a learning opportunity; OR

  • A user is registered by an event manager AND the event manager opts to send a notification.

Email Subject Line: You're Registered for [Event or Course Name] with [Name of District/Organization]

Course leaders and administrators with permission to manage events can trigger this confirmation notification once they've registered attendees by visiting an event or course's attendance page and clicking Review and send above the attendee table.

2. Upcoming Event Reminders

This notification type can be enabled/disabled for your organization - please reach out to your Client Success Manager to request a change.

This notification goes out automatically when a user is registered for an event scheduled for the following day as a friendly reminder. This email goes out the day before an event is scheduled at 6:30 am EST, 5:30am CST, and 3:30 am PT

Email Subject Line: Reminder: You are registered for [Name of District/Organization} event on [Date]

3. Event Follow-Ups

Users receive this email automatically at the end-time of the event they were registered for so that they can easily confirm their attendance and/or submit feedback, if they haven't already.

If users do not confirm their attendance or complete their feedback, KickUp will automatically send a reminder 1 day and 1 week after the event.

Sample Email Subject line: Following Up on [Event Name] with [Name of District/Organization}

4. Announcements

Facilitators may choose to directly email all registrants of an event by posting an announcement. Read more about announcements here.

5. Cancelled Events

Automated email notifications are sent to registrants when an event is cancelled.

6. Course Attendance Confirmation

Automated email notifications are sent to users after their attendance for a self-paced course is confirmed. This also prompts them to provide feedback on the course.

7. Activity in Courses with Content

Self-paced courses that have Content within KickUp have a special set of email notifications to alert course facilitators and participants to course updates or actions they may need to take related to a course.

Examples include:

  • Assignment submissions

  • Assignment approvals

  • Assignment returns

  • Comment activity in the course

8. Course Due Date Reminders

Users registered - and without their attendance confirmed - for a course with a due date receive several reminder emails:

  • 1 week before the due date

  • 1 day before the due date

  • 1 day after the due date

  • 1 week after the due date
